How To Play

Pov your project got taken down ✨ (click for examples) I've finally gotten around to making one... welcome to Turtlecats, my very first Clangen mod! Turtlecats is a sprite mod that will give your cats turtle shells, hence the name! Making this was a lot of fun, and I hope you all enjoy playing with it as much as I did making it <3 This mod features fully textured and shaded turtle shells, eighteen different colors (including purple, blue, red, and spotted shells), and, my personal favorite part, barnacles on the elders' shells! There are a few easy steps for installing! (Please close your game first) - Before you download the actual sprite sheet, go into the "sprites" folder and rename "skin.png" to "skinold.png" or something similar. - Go to this link [ https://ibb.co/XxgTwB4 ] and download the image. It should already be named "skin.png", but it's always worth it to check, just in case. - Drag the newly named "skin.png" file into the "sprites" folder. - Open up your game and it should be good to go! - If you'd like to return to your original game, simply change "skin.png" (the turtle file) to "skinturtle.png" or similar, and change "skinold.png" back to "skin.png". I should mention that I play on a chromebook using Linux, and may not be too helpful when it comes to troubleshooting other devices! The mod also only works with the downloaded version (not the web version) obviously.
