Castlevania TEST ENGINE
Game Introduction
ALL CODING DONE BY ME! You can use it ONLY IF YOU ASK FOR PERMISSION! In addition, I made some sprites, such as the words "loading", and the moon. I can't stress this enough, please do not use those sprites without permission. The other sprites were made by Konami, so if you use them give credit to Konami. I put then into sprites straight from the sprite sheets from the Spriters Resource which took a lot of time. Make sure if you're using the Castlevania sprites in this project to credit the Spriters Resource (except for Hanz, the red guy, because I found him on the internet).
How To Play
This is a TEST, not a game. I just started the coding, and as you can see it is a horribly broken project. Every aspect of this game is a glitch, so please don't complain in the comments that is doesn't work. Oh and I used a scratch text bubble, which I try to avoid. In the Castlevania game I am working on, it will use portraits and custom text boxes. Whatever you do, don't crouch while running, it really messes Richter up. X whips and the arrows do everything else. Also I will later add real Castlevania Backgrounds, but this is just a test so I didn't bother. I am happy with the transparent tree in the foreground, it was my first parallax scrolling attempt. THIS IS UNFINISHED! Also, I apologize for the sprites being distorted (you can see that when Richter breathes, he looks like he grows slightly). Scratch 2.0 just HAS to ruin beautiful pixel art. Full screen makes it blurry, so I would stay out of it.
