Text to Speech - C64 SAM
Game Introduction
This entire project is an emulation of the SAM (Software Automatic Mouth) program, originally written by Don't Ask Software (now SoftVoice) for the Commodore 64, but was available for other computers like the Apple II. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_Automatic_Mouth I have yet to add proper support for diphthongs, so words that blend vowels like 'defeat' and 'room' might be pronounced wrong. If you hear any common words that you think should be changed, please leave a comment.
How To Play
THIS PROGRAM IS STILL IN ALPHA - IT WILL GET BETTER This is a text-to-speech engine. To use it, simply type a line of text in all capital letters, with no punctuation.
