English - This is a Korean Folk tale called "Green Frog." In this story, there is a mom frog and her two son frogs. her sons are very disobedient and always do the opposite of what she tells them to do. When the mother frog gets old, she tells her sons "When I die, please place my body on the river bank," hoping they would do the opposite. The mom frog hoped to be placed on a hilltop, where she could be in peace, so she told her sons the opposite. But full of grief once their mother died, the sons placed her on the riverbank, where she told them to place her. That night there was a storm and the river overflowed. The mother frog's body was washed into the water and she drifted away. In the morning the sons were devastated and wished they had never disobeyed their mom. They cried all day and all night, "gae-gul, gae-gul."
